The food is just okay. It's the service that separates them. One example - a few years ago I was running a little late one Saturday morning for my son's basketball game. We swung into CFA to grab a quick breakfast. Drive thru was wrapped around the building, so I decided to go inside and get it to go. Place my order and go to pay, and realize I had left my wallet at home. Cashier without any hesitation said no problem, it's on us this morning. I don't think she was a manager, just a high school kid, and she had the authority to make that call.

It's rare something like that would happen at McDonald's, Wendy's, BK, et al.

This seems like a good thread to mention that today is Cow Appreciation Day at Chik-Fil-A. Print out a piece of paper with cow spots on it, hold it up to your chest when you get to the register, and they'll give you a free entree.

I just spent the last hour sending cow masks to people in the office, and cutting one out for myself. Not sure how to bill that time, but I'm sure it was worth it.

Sorry, I have to say you people are full of bullshite.

My wife needed something to eat before her knitting group tonight and Chick-fil-A took 15 minutes to go through the line on Clearview at 6:45 pm tonight.

Y'all are busted! Now what is the real reason for their popularity?

Its amazing how good things happen when you treat customers with respect and gratitude. Obviously the slobs at Burger King and McDonald’s have never learned this lesson.

15 mins for a line that was prob 30 cars deep? Do you have any idea how long a line that long would take at a Burger King or McDonald’s??? And your service was prob friendly and efficient. You are bullshite sir. Chickfila is the GOAT.

You just read a ton examples why there is a following. And you had ONE bad experience and question it.

The service hands down is why I go
