How do y'all boil your shrimp?

I am getting 25 pounds on Sunday. Having friends over. 21-25 count. What brand seasoning(unless you make your own)? What vegetables? Method?
I have done smaller batches in past but I cannot nail down the flavor even if I let soak longer. I usually also drop some ice to stop cooking process.
I like mine to have a decent amount of salt and spice. I usually buy already boiled because I am the only one in my house that eats boiled shrimp.
Thanks

Is that 25 pounds head on? If not that's a ton of shrimp
We do liquid crab boil and lemons...that's it and they come out great

I don’t think I ever seen boiling shrimp without the heads in large batches. Guess that’s how they do it at a buffet.

Get 7-8 bags of Zat dry spices, some lemons and preboil the spices 5 minutes before adding shrimp. Stop cook just before done, add just enough ice to slow down cooking and soak, maybe 10 minutes, then add more ice and soak as long as you like.

You have to spice the hell out of them.
I use chackbay for 25 lbs I'd use 2 packs of chackbay, a box of salt and an 8oz bottle of liquid. Boil them they float, soak them till the sink.

Use more seasoning than you do for crawfish. I also use extra lemons for shrimp.
Block ice is a must. The number one mistake I’ve seen made is people over cooking shrimp. Shut the burner off as soon as it starts boiling again after you’ve added the shrimp. Add ice immediately. Frozen milk jugs of water work fine if you don’t want to dilute the water.
Start sampling them every 5 minutes until they have reached the desired spice level. If after 10 minutes of soaking you notice they are still bland then you don’t have enough seasoning in the pot. You can add some and stir in during the soak process.
Also I like to boil my corn ahead of time in plain water. Drop then in the pot during the soak to pick up a little spice. They come out perfect every time doing this.

When my mother boils them on the stove she shakes cayenne pepper into the water until it's DRY on top. Fairly shocking, but she's a coonass that doesn't mind running people out of the house.

Season as you wish but don’t over cook them. As soon as mine get to a rolling boil I cut the fire off. Add a little butter to the pot as well.

I really like the flavor of shrimp. I don’t season them nearly as heavy as I do crawfish.

Please don’t do this. It’s like adding oil to the water and will put a greasy coating on the shrimp. Properly cooked shrimp will peel like a dream. No butter or oil needed.

I boil shrimp in lousiana seasoning. Make my water like I'm boiling crawfish. Onion garlic etc. I dont care for the bitterness of the liquid boil. Bring the water to a boil and add shrimp. Return to a boil and kill the fire. Add ice make sure the shrimp sink. Soak for 15 to 30 min depending on flavor. Taste test a few during the soak. The ice will shrink the most enough for them to peel easy.
