I don't think I could ever do it. I mean just driving by a Burger King makes me want to just house down a whooper. I just couldn't imagine giving up a steak(with A1 of course)Then the thought of giving up chicken wings? Or fried chicken for that matter. I mean hey your probably the smart one for health reasons. Kudos if you can do it though.Would anyone else find this hard to do?

I could go a long while on Indian vegetarian dishes I think. The spices almost make up for the lack of meat. There are also many times when I'm just happy with some cornbread and collard greens.

But as you say, saying goodbye to fried chicken forever is an impossibility to me.

I once went vegetarian for two months. I really didn’t miss meat after the first week or two.

I did a 3 day fast/cleanse thing with a chick. 1st day only the shakes/juice crap. The next 2 days were veggies only. By day 4, I almost punched a nun for a burger.

It always baffles me when people cite awful fast food as the reason they couldn’t be a vegetarian

I could probably pull off being pescatarian without much effort, but full vegetarianism would take some adjusting.

And at the end of the day, I would rather be a bit more source conscious and then not arbitrarily limit my diet.

Same I did borderline vegan for two months. Lost like 15lbs and my doc had to pick his jaw up off the floor when he looked at how my bloodwork improved.

But im back to face fricking steaks and fried chicken with slightly elevated cholesterol again... LOL

I admit my mouth waters when I smell barbecue. But other than that, I don't miss meat.

Really? Because Burger King makes me want to vomit.

Taco Bell isn't terrible, but it sure as shite isn't good and the one near me takes FOREVER. I'd rather hit up Izzo's, Chipotle, El Mescal, a taco Truck, La Morenita, or really any other place I can afford before Taco Bell if they're open. Taco Bell is for late night only, and only if I'm not in the mood for something like Whataburger, Louie's, or Waffle House.

Fried Chicken is a weird one for me. I either really want it or really want anything BUT fried chicken.

A1 isn't bad on a burger, but it's unnecessary on a good steak, but whatever floats your boat. It's really easy to give up steak when you can't afford it

Like I said, I could never go full vegetarian, but I could definitely survive eating meat more sparingly, and would never have fast food be an impediment.
