I love when adults complain about portion size for food meant for children lol

Sounds like you had Popeyes instead of Canes

if either of these give you explosive diarrhea you should probably get yourself checked out. that's some weak GI genetics there.

Why is Canes the only chicken place on earth that gets shite for higher prices?

Popeyes and every wing place is absurd with their prices.

Gotta get them well done. They're super soggy otherwise.

I also enjoy getting the fingers naked. The coating is just too greasy, and the chicken gets a nice crunchy exterior that way

Cane's isn't something you can eat leftovers later like sub shops, or even Popeyes. I haven't been in over a year, for the kid.

Wut lol. In what world can you eat Popeyes leftovers but not canes

After Katrina, Cane’s was the only open food option - fast or otherwise - for months on end. We ate that stuff up after a hard day mucking out, and were happy to get it. That said, haven’t eaten there since probably 2008.

Stopped at a Foosackly’s in Mobile recently after curiosity got the better of me. Was pleasantly impressed. They were set up like Chik-fil-A, with super cute sorority candidates taking orders outside in the heat. (She said she was working on her tan when we commiserated with her.) They gave us a sample of every one of their sauces when we mentioned that it was our first visit. My order of five large chicken fingers - hot out of the fryer - was $7.85. Maybe start lobbying for one in your area?

Not in LA it isn't. $9.59 plus tax.

I love when people just downvote facts.

This is in Baton Rouge

As an aside, one can get two pieces, two sides, a biscuit and a drink at popeyes for $7.69. A kids combo at Canes is $6.59 with tax

My bad then

I still think a Caniac isn’t a bad deal if you’re splitting it though

Popeyes is a huge ripoff.

Canes is expensive too, but Popeye’s uses microscopic chicken pieces.

I honestly have no idea how they stay in business.

No, getting it delivered is more expensive. 25% hike on the food to cover the expense of delivery plus a 3.99 delivery fee

My price is for pickup, which is the same as the menu price in the store.

When Canes is good it’s really good. The problem is that it’s rarely good anymore. You will always get some combination of: small fingers, cold fries, cold chicken. Sometimes you get all 3.

Exactly. Always a droppings mystery to me why it's Cane's that always gets bitched about.

I'm about done with all fast food.
Pretty lazy about cooking meals a whole lot, so I've been going to the grocery stores that have food bars and eating much better for cheaper.
