Yikes, good to know

Dunson, The Glass Wall is another cool place to go eat. It's close to mi casa, so if you need someone to watch Lil Dunson we wouldnt mind. glass wall

I think I remember hearing some good things about it when it first opened years ago, but if I want seafood I'll cook it myself or feel like forking over a lot of money I'll go to Reef.

I don't know if I went on a bad night but I was not impressed with The Glass Wall. It might have been the $8.50 they charged me for a draft beer or the $25 Chicken Fried Steak on the menu.

so the lil lady has specified thai food. I will definitely keep the french restaurants in mind for the future (as well as the offer for free babysitting)...

so if I were to go out for thai friday night, where would I go?

PS. TT05, do you and the mister want any boudin from the best stop?

I would go to Nidda Thai just west of Montrose on Westheimer. It's the only place I go for thai in Houston.

surprised no one has mentioned Vietnamese. My understanding is houston has incredible Vietnamese restaurants. I have no recommendations though.

We do have pretty good Vietnamese, but the places I go are just pho or bahn mi joints, not really a place I'd take my wife/gf for an anniversary dinner.

Nidda Thai
Mai Thai
Thai Pepper
these were the only suggested thai restaurants... any comments on what they are like? nice? casual? anything in particular I should order?

I've never had a good meal at Mai Thai.

Thai Pepper and Thai Gourmet are pretty good, I've never had Nidda Thai.
