I used to say that, but Pappasitios changed their ribs, that was a big favorite. I go less now

What about near the Galleria?

Caracol, MAD, North is good...I'd head a little east on Westheimer to Giacomo's, Pappa Bros, Steak 48, Killen's STQ...I find the Ninfa's on Post Oak to be pretty bland...kinda like the franchise outposts that were nearly all shuttered.

OG Ninfa's is average to good for most things(Momma Ninfa's grandson has outdone his wella's fajitas over at El Tiempo), great for a few things(any of the tacos that come in a cazuela...redfish, octopus, rabbit...and the fajita burger)...Uptown Ninfa's-skip it, it's a half hearted effort.

Antica Osteria is an Italian restaurant north of Rice University I'll throw into the list. Everything we ordered there was delicious.

Eunice is great

We went here btw and everyone loved it. From the drinks to the atmosphere to the food, everything was a near perfect experience.

We had the biscuits and burrata appetizer (honestly one of my favorite dishes I’ve ever had!), chicken and sausage gumbo, pork chop, brussel sprouts, and a couple of orders of red fish. For dessert we went with the bread pudding that was outstanding as well.

If you live in Houston but want to eat like you’re in NOLA, I’d make a reservation ASAP.

Thanks for the recommendation
