Hot Take - A freshly made Whopper is the best fast food burger - Period!!!

Fight me if you want, I’ll meet you at Sonic and kick your arse, than buy you a mediocre burger.
Whataburger’s burger is just a step above Sonic.
Wendy’s is the only thing that comes close to the Whopper.
The nastiest fast food burger (other than McD) is Dairy Queen. Their burger tastes like cleaning supplies.

A fresh whopper is pretty solid, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s the best. It’s been a long time but I remember really liking Backyard Burger off Siegen. It’s obviously a smaller chain than the big names, but it’s still a fast food model so it should count.
I’ll meet you at sonic, kick your arse, skip the burger, THEN I’ll take Dorothy AntiqueTiger out for a nice seafood dinner and never call her again.

I don't know where they have any in the US but A&W makes a dang good fast food burger here in Canada. Shits legit. Go there regularly while I'm working up here

The quality of beef is better at Wendy's.
The "flamegrilled" flavor of BK is very solid. But the buns at BK are usually stale.
Overall, Wendy's is much more consistent.

Is harder to find than Unicorns. I do love a good whopper, but the last several times I’ve been to BK, service sucked and the food clearly wasn’t fresh. I agree that Wendy’s makes a better burger. Baconator, add lettuce, tomato and pickle is my go to.
