A few months back there was a guy on here talking about a new Hot Dog joint he was planning to open in Baton Rouge. Does anyone know the status on this?

It’s probably Dat Dog. They’re from NOLA and they have a fun concept with solid food.
It’s a hotdog joint, not Commander’s Palace. Just go in with the right expectations and you’ll enjoy it.

I moved away from Chicago in 1996, and for the next 20 years my dad made fun of me because when I would visit home I would always go straight to Portillos.
Last year my parents retired and moved to Florida.
Just this past Sunday my dad apologized for making fun of me all those years.
