Thanks, each batch I start I feel more and more confident. Had the owners of great raft give me compliments on my pompegranate saison yesterday, so that helps as well

Brew on, brother. Just lit my burners for the strike water. Time to get going. Been a couple months since I've brewed. Great weather for it today. Not hot. Not cold. No wind. Sun is shining.

Yeah, I was nervous as hell giving Andrew at Parish my espresso stout to try. But he had a lot of good things to say about it.

The mammoth?
That's cause that was really good

I've shared with the guys at Big Thicket and Lone Pint. BT really liked the praline porter, and LP was to compare my citra pa to their mosaic pa

Good times

Brewing going on in background. Foreground is a newly tapped farmhouse ale.

Awesome!

This is a pic of my vanilla porter, it's only been in bottles 6 days and is already delicious.

I almost took a pic of the blueberry cream I had today. Blueberries don't add much flavor, but they make a really pretty beer

I've never been interested in anything close to gardening, but I would really like to try my hand at growing hops one day.

Unfortunately my dogs are retarded and would eat the stupid things leaving me with no hops and two stupid dogs in the ER.

I figured since they are $4.25 each, I'd give it a shot. I'm gonna grow them in the front of the house bc I have dogs just like that

I tried growing them two years ago... I got my vine to about 10 feet before the lawn guy destroyed them. I never had any kind of budding but it was still cool. I'll probably try and grow them again this year.

Suspense and Zappa have grown for several years with good luck. I tried for the first time this past year. Grew some Centennial and Willamette. I did them in 45 gal. containers on my front porch. The summer heat scorched them, so I will move them to the back yard next year to give them a little less afternoon sunshine. Ended up with one bud on the Willamette and about 1/2 oz on the Centennial.

I bought cascade and centennial. I have some 25 gallon cow feed containers I got from the farm so I can move them around. Actually found a link off Pinterest with some solid information.

Similar to asparagus, It takes 2 to 3 years before you get a good crop.
