Jazz Fest and Festival Acadian just to name two in my opinion. If you think Hogs is the best so be it...

They were selling a big bag for $10, they were bite sized pieces cut smaller than the norm, seasoned and fried perfectly. Ended up giving the remainder of the bag to my Lyft driver probably 6 hours after i bought them and she thought they were the best things ever

Good choices. I just was wondering if you thought the Strawberry Festival or some other crap was the good stuff. LOL

I can't for the life of me figure out who I got mine from. It was a booth kindof in the middle walkway area. It was a small booth with people wearing navy collared polo type shirts that said something "health".

I was surprised when they handed me a Ziplock bag that had longer strips that looked like skin, but they were so delicious. Nothing like I expected.

He’s been known to show up at Venice Marina from time to time. Usually at that Faux Pas deal.

Lol at all of the complaining in this thread. It sucked that the payment system was messing up. It seemed to only be messing up on credit card top-ups. Cash worked fine. So guess what I did? I topped off with cash.

Favorite food included:

- Ribs with death relish, pepper jelly, and Alabama white at Foxeria
- Burnt end gumbo at Blue Oak
- Pork and Pimento sliders at Hog Dat Nation
- Boudin wontons at Chits and Piggles
- Billycado at Deswine Intervention

Douchebag, this is Net. I’d be frickin livid. I am livid, and I didn’t even go. I just have a feeling that this charity event may have some fraudulent or nefarious goings on. I don’t care if that’s an unpopular sentiment. You lose people’s money two years in a row with the disclaimer that any money that ‘happens to vanish/not exchanged for goods or services’ goes to charity?

lol, no
It’s fun to sit here and make fun of others’ misfortune. But when you start tossing words like fraudulent and charity together in the same sentence, things can get dicey.

Let’s just hope your money actually goes to some type of research, even if you did get ripped off and left hungry. Anyone saying they wouldn’t be pissed is a liar.

Oh, and hats off to the brave men and women who ‘sold’ food to people who couldn’t use their wristband. Ya really went out of your way to help the people donating.

Just to be clear, here is what actually happened. The system was down around the open of the festival Friday afternoon. It came back up about an hour later. There were other smaller issues at other times. Any money you put on your band and didnt use is refunded, already got mine back. Sorry that some had a bad experience because of these issues, it's a shame. But let's not go all down the rabbit hole here.

Really cool event overall. Some amazing food and thought the music was great, especially American Aquarium and Lukas Nelson. The amount of work by the organizers and team participants is absolutely incredible.

Pork City Bombay Pork
Mr. Pigglesworth Pork Belly Bites
Aporkalypse Now Cuban & Quesadilla

really wasn't impressed with Blue Oak tacos or brisket

I still have no idea how I became the high horse person in here

I was yelled at for being upset I couldnt participate in an event I paid money to attend because "I have healthy children" I simply responded defending my personal character and my children. I didnt in the least start the holier than thou brigade

I redacted info that was too personal about my family

Easy now. They didnt steal the money I loaded on my card. It will be refunded to me.

Once again, no ill will towards the people running it. I have had a blast in previous years. Just was an arse chapping experience for me Saturday

no you werent. you were gently alerted you were being dramatic. Then, you exploded into a full drama queen. Multiple time people tried to calm you down bu saying they werent calling you out for being upset, as they were too, but to go full retard saying they lost a customer, in fact, was dramatic.

you said your children were sick at first, prior to her calling your kids healthy, then said your children arnet going through anything like the kids this cause is put on to help. So leave your kids out of it.

I see that ind if you would like i will removed what i quoted it. but you brought your kids into the argument first.
