They should list team names. Not the names of the chef/restaurant competing. Mostly they should say what they are serving.

could it be that they dont print maps to give every team a fair shake. Actually make people walk around and check everything out, rather than put a map out where people will only focus on the names they know?

Probably not their motivation, but that is a very good point LE.

We went with a free downloadable app (or mobile website map), but realized people didn't want to donwload or use it. Our fault for giving technology the edge.

And on the other side of the equation teams don't want to give out info of what they are serving in lieu of someone stealing an idea. But it is something we will re tweak.

You could keep it a secret up until the morning of the event? Have the map made up, jsut not live on the website till the morning of.

I found the app to be useful, maybe people didn't know about it.

Could work but then if it doesnt load on the morning of the event, we have even bigger problem. Trust me, this kind of thing kept us up at night. And the teams dont even want to share information with us, so even getting it from a team is a challenge.

The feedback is much appreciated, though.

Had to bump this... does anyone know if Fat Buddy's sells those pulled pork beignets anywhere? Catering maybe? I've got an outlandish craving and can't wait until March.
