So finally getting a chance to go to Ninos tomorrow night. Is there anything that is a must have? A buddy said the gnocchi app was pretty good.

If it is a few the antipasto is a good starter. I like the bruschetta too and if he has foie gras anything get it. I rarely get past the pastas because they are very good. This time of year the crab and Brie is good and kind of light. A little heavier the lamb ragu is very good and I really like his carbonara.

Warm chocolate chip cookies with ice cream for desert. Actually they always have 4 or so good deserts.

He has a nice wine list but bring one and buy one and he won't charge corkage.

If you like grilled romaine he does a nice salad with it. Not my thing but my wife loves it. And yes the gnocchi is really good and light.

Martini knows what he is talking about.

The caesar salad is one of my favorites here and the olive tapanade topped croutons are a nice touch.

If he is running the cap steak pasta this is a must have.

The gnocchi is tremendous as well especially with the roasted red pepper pesto.

You must go, what, 400 pounds?

Their portion size is more than adequate.

They also offer a Bruschetta that changes daily and isn't usually on the menu. Always a great way to start off the meal there.

Oh and the charcuterie board is top notch.

As said before the cap steak is awesome, I also like the pork entree a lot.

You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Pasta Salsiccia hands down is my favorite. Side note, I hate the atmosphere there. It's ugly and drab.

Sooo.... Got the charcuterie board for the table as the app as there were 6 of us.
The cap steak was one of the specials along with a mahi dish.
The guys got the cap and everyone was cooked perfect and the homemade pasta was tossed with a farmer or farm house cheese. Was pretty damn good. My wife got the mahi dish b/c she wasn't in the mood for steak. Kicker is she isn't crazy about mahi (she is from bay Saint Louis and every place does a mahi dish, mahi sandwich etc and it's usually terrible). "If it tasted like this does I'd eat it all the time", she enjoyed it. It came with a crab meat hash of sorts.
Got the fresh baked cookies and it came with an orange/caramel ice cream. Not something I'd pick, but it worked well. Not overpowering in the orange dept at all.

That being said the food was great, but our server and service was great as well. He went with the flow of the table and let us have a good time at our own pace. I was afraid we would be rushed, but we had a few drinks then ordered apps and wine for the table before ordering our entrees. Like I said they let us enjoy ourselves.

I'll definitely be back and recommend it to everyone

Oh and to the fatty who said you don't get enough food.... How fat are you? The board was big enough for 6 people. The salads and soups were shared and the entrees were perfect size... anymore and I would've felt terrible/gross b/c I wasn't gonna stop until it was gone
