Staying with friends in this area. I'm sure we'll get into DC, but I'm looking for suggestions on the VA side of the Potomic.

That a very nice area. I recalling visit there and told myself “it would be nice to live here”. Then I looked up home prices and that was the end of that chapter.

Vienna Inn
Lol. Many yeras ago there was this little very old man that worked there. 1980's. I went with a friend to pick up a keg. The old guy starts rolling the keg out and my friend asks a question. He answers the question and starts rolling the kep again. She asks another question. He stops again and sighs and answers the question. He starts rolling the keg again. She opens her mouth and he says "lady, if you ask one more goddamn question I'm going to put this fricking keg back whre it came from". She shut her mouth and we loaded the keg and left.
So, if you want hotdogs and beer in a rowdy setting the Vienna Inn is your jam.

Peter Chang has a few restaurants around the DC area including one in Arlington. If not familiar, he is kind of the king of Sichuan cuisine in the US.
