Don't go talking about Popeye's. But all of this is true. And I've never been told they were out of chicken or had to wait 25 minutes at Cane's. And the tenders at Popeye's are garbage. If they aren't piping hot they are dry, if they are piping hot the batter slides off.

These threads are just fun. You can't pretend there is anything of substance in a Cane's thread, bro.
Price went up in 20 years! Tenders are smaller (because Cane's contracted with their supplier for smaller product at increased costs I guess?)

But the idea that Cane's is somehow a market outlier with product and price is ridiculous.

You're right for sure. I think it is one of those things that people were so vocal about loving for years that the pushback is more dramatic than, say, Taco Bell which everyone mutually agrees is shite. (shite that I occasionally love, but shite nonetheless)

Such a pointless and tired thread...so of course I'll post in it.
I don't get Canes often...maybe once every 4 months or so, and when I do it's a mix bag. Sometimes the tenders are good sized. Sometimes they are small and I am left underwhelmed. And the usual is one large tender and 3 small tenders. They probably have them sorted by size when serving.
OP, you should have taken a pic of all 4 tenders, but you chose the one large tender to convince us they were all that size, and they weren't.
And all that said, it's the only fast food that ends in a multi-page debate.
