I just ate some of the plate lunch. Very good, but now I’m really stuffed. Probably won’t eat again til 8 or 9.

Bruh. You didn’t eat the links while they were hot?

Heck no, that’s a rookie mistake. Gotta let the links cool down a little to get a true taste of the flavors without burning your mouth.

Ok so I just did my blind taste test. This is how I rated them:

1. Mr. T’s
2. Eunice Superette

3. Eunice Poultry

4. T-Boys
5. Mel’s

The top two were both very good and was very tough to pick a winner. Mr. T’s had a richer, fuller flavor while Superette had a more traditional flavor that I associate with boudin. Both were solid, though. Eunice Poultry was good and fresh-tasting. The other two I didn’t really care for at all.

Next time try rays in Opelousas in hwy 182.

Also get some fried chicken at joes sandwich shop on 190 in Opelousas. Hands down best fried chicken.

Also meches on 190 was famous for their smoked sausage. It went downhill for a while but is back with a vengeance. Ate some in my moms red beans and it was fire.

I’ll agree about Joe’s, but it seems every time I try the Ray’s recipe boudin I really don’t care for it.

Did another blind taste test this morning, just out of curiosity. The results were the same, but this time Mr. T’s was the clear cut winner.
