"Rapper's Delight" was ranked at number 251 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" in 2010, and number 2 on VH1's "100 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs". It is also included on NPR's list of the 100 most important American musical works of the 20th century. It was preserved in the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress in 2011 for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
In 2014, the record was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
Either you are really young or still playing your Mantovani LP's on your 78 speed phonograph. Only thing that make sense for you missing this song and living in the USA.

The OP was a lyric from the rap song.
You are derailing the thread by making it about the F&D board.
Is this a troll or do you really not get this?
I do not get sarcasm so I miss most of it on TD and I still do not get trolling, it makes no sense to me.

Thank you for that, so all your posts were just trolling?

All except the first. Don't think most people would recall that lyric and I'm in my 50s.
Posted on 12/8/23 at 8:12 am to Jake88
To be fair the original song was like 15 min long and it was late in the song.
Might be a bit young but they still play it even now
Thanks for the heads up, the older I get the more folks troll so you are one of the few to take the time to explain that is what you are doing.

Oh, so you bust out the door while it's still closed still sick from the food you ate, and then you run to the store for quick relief from a bottle of Kaopectate? Been there.

That and some use "instant" and think folks can't tell the difference.
I actually don’t dislike instant but they have their place. For regular grits seems like cooking length is vital.
Recently made some corn grits, ate some and was good, but I left the pot on the burner on low…came back like 30 mins later added some chicken broth and cream and they tasted awesome. Rich and creamy.

I refuse to eat at one of my friends house because of how nasty the environment is. I have told him before and he is just laze. So whenever he offers to cook or want to hang out, I just pick up my own food. I don't even like cooking my own food at his house.

Blegh. This is why I don’t potluck if I don’t know you and haven’t scoped out your home
