Has anyone been to a Taco Bell lately?

I went today for the first time in a long time because I was starving and had not had time to stop for lunch and just wanted something quick. I ordered one of those combo boxes with the new fries they are promoting and to my surprise everything in the box actually resembled the pictures on the menu board and actually tasted good. It didn't look like the old taco bell I remembered where everything was just thrown together really quick and messy and everything tasting the same. If one were to order fast food from somewhere, they could do a lot worse than ordering from taco bell.

I also got that $5 box the other day when I was on the road. Pleasantly satisfied

As far a numbers goes, it is the easiest fast food restaurant to eat low-calorie and was ranked as "healthiest fast food" a while back due to that. You can get the fresco style tacos for as low as 140/per.
Which makes sense when you think about it. Other than just recently with those new fries, it is the only FF place without fries, bread, or a 90% fried food menu.

A taco tortilla isn't great either, but a little less than a hamburger bun usually :)

I spent a good 18-19 years of my life refusing to eat at Taco Bell. Loved it when I was young, went through my unofficial personal boycott based on ingredient quality, and then had one open very near the house and decided to give it another shot.
The shite is good. I don't care what's in it, it's good. Anyone who can eat a fiery cheesy gordita crunch with fire sauce and not come away satisfied is someone who I cannot trust for food opinions.

$5 boxes are a good deal. I like the double beef nachos bellgrande. And the caramel apple empanda is worth the trip

I'm going to get blasted for this, but I thought the nacho fries were way too hyped. They were just okay Sonic fries with nacho cheese on the side for me. Can't beat that price though.
