Went to Mariners Inn the other day while in town and the burgers were dry. Wasn’t nearly as good as years past.

The Hammond area in general does not know how to run a restaurant. It is mind boggling how many places I've been that are poorly run and the service is horrid.

i live in hammond and eat out a couple times a week, ive been there twice and never again. its reputation is well earned.
recently we've been going to streetside market. the food is way better than it needs to be, cool atmosphere and fantastic service
