Shrimp Basket has been my favorite for 15 years now. Good food and very cheap. Wolf Bay Lodge at the marina opened a few years ago and it's solid. The old one burned down so you may have been to it in the past. Crab Trap in Florida is decent and it's on the beach. I always liked the Original Oyster House in Gulf Shores too but I haven't been lately.

Tacky Jack's is a fun place to have a drink and catch a great view. I've never been a huge fan of the food though. The original Doc's has some of the best seafood around, but is usually pretty crowded at dinner time (as is most every place though).

I have found that the quality of Doc’s has really gone downhill over the past few years…..Doc’s used to be one of my favorite places to eat in the area……but the past few times I have eaten there, the food was subpar, cleanliness was an issue, etc. Too many other good places to eat in the area IMO

Sea N Suds will keep you under the $15 range. Poppa's pizza is VERY good & not that expensive. Check out Urbanspoon for some more ideas.
Also, find yourself a place that sells Royal Red & boil those babies up...

Completely forgot Sea n Suds, a definite must go place. Great food and the setting is tough to beat with the building literally hanging out over the ocean.

Why do some people insist on being smart a#### whenever some asked for GS/OB recs? We get it. It's not an outstanding restaurant area. There ARE some reasonably good places though to go have a meal that won't make you sick so how about not responding unless you have something intelligent to offer.
