If anyone wants to make onion bombs and you know how to use a grill or pit or pellet grill, or smoker, y’all should watch this guy on YouTube.

Stuffed Onion Bombs

I don’t know how to use any of those, so I had to use the oven. I also chose not to use sugar added products, but that would make them taste awesome, I’m sure.

Congrats Darla! I got more votes than I expected for just making a burger, but I wasn't in a creative mood that night and it was delicious!

congrats to EVERYONE who entered. The entire FDB is "winners". These recipes and pics provide us with new cooking options in the kitchen. The Mrs. already said she wants Darla's onion bomb for dinner tonight. I'll likely improvise and buy some fresh green onion, cajun, and Italian sausage to use as the various meat stuffing.

edit: just thought about stuffing an onion with boudin and pepperjack cheese

Pie!

May have to set some standards for this one.
When is a pie not a pie.

Those rules are very restrictive. We’re going to be more relaxed than that!

Thank you for posting! When I saw your picture in the contest, I immediately started looking for recipes. I'm going to make some on Saturday for football games.

I made these yesterday. I had to leave the house for awhile so I overcooked them a little, but still really good. I used the Slap's rub and bbq sauce that he used in the video. I love the rub, but the sauce is too sweet for me. Good stuff!
