Where can I get some delicious Greek food in Baton Rouge tonight that is not a chain like Almaza or Albasha?

Atcha on Nicholson north of campus

I used to eat this pretty often when I was at LSU. I'm not the best to ask do compare and contrast it to other restaurants, but for the money (cheap) it was great.

Not looking for a Greek value meal, somewhere similar to Byblos on Metairie Road in Old Metairie...

Byblos is a chain by the way, like Albasha or Serops.

I thought they only had two restaurants - Metairie Road and Magazine Street?

albasha's isn't a chain. they have several locations, but it's no more a chain than monjuni's

Please don't make me even think of Monjuni's...
Ok, is there a Greek restaurant where they aren't all over the city and surrounding areas?

Well doesn't 2 restaurants consider itself a chain according to your definition?
They also have a location in Lakeside Mall if you count that.
Oh, and Almaza only has one location unless you consider their location at the Mall of LA.

I think that's arzis in the mall, so almaza should only have one location

Atcha is a shady place. Wouldn't trust them to feed my cat. Almaza is good, though.. but Serops has the best greek-lebanese food in BR, IMO. I go to the downtown Express location all the time for a quick $8 meal.
A lot of people seem to like Albasha for a "nicer" meal.

You have no basis on this. Prove it...

I don't know how to quote, but to antiquetiger- I wonder how that place stays in business! Even on Friday and Saturday nights there's hardly ever anyone in there. I went once and it was o.k. at best. It's not even owned by people from that area though. They must have deep pockets.
Anyway, for my money it's Serop's all the way. I like the one on Jefferson at Government the best, but the others are very good too.

Nobody mentioned Romans. I've never been there but i thought it was a Greek/med. restaurant
