Most people go out to eat (nice to fine dining, not talking Chili's etc) about 6 times a year.

I can't imagine only eating out 6 times a year. I almost hit that in one month. I've eaten at what you probably consider "nice" restaurants almost 6 times in the past 10 days due to guests in town. In summation, you poor son

Another OT baller!!!

It's not being poor, it's being smart. I can find a ton of other stuff to do with my "play money" than going out to eat 50 times a year.

Do you take Beard out and then he takes you out, or do y'all go Dutch and see who can run up the biggest OT baller bill?

How does the limo deal work? Might have a group in BR in August who'd like to eat there, but would like to enjoy multiple cocktails without wirrying about the drive back.

It is of great benefit to expose children to a nice restaurant as often and as soon as possible. They learn how to behave, what goes on, they see other people enjoying themselves and the benefits of using big people manners.

Ding ding ding!

Both of my girls, ages 7 and 4, have been to Ruffino's, Ruth's Chris, Flemings, The Capital Grille, Mr. B's, etc. multiple times and enjoy their experience each and every time. Plus they know how to behave.

My oldest, since 5, orders for herself. Filet, pink and juicy, with bernaise sauce. Every time she can.

I look at it this way. Let them have high standards when it comes to dining - that way, no snot nose pimple faced boy can ask, but no way they're going to Olive Garden for homecoming.

They come get us in our neighborhood periodically. Call an make a reservation. Nothing to it. One of the better restrt perks in this city.

Only problem.... We had a neighborhood mens night dinner up there a couple weeks ago..... And too many guys wanted to go, so we wouldnt all fit the limo!

Fun times

Send the limo, we will right there (with my two daughters)!!!

I don't drink that much like I use to (because I'm usually the driver), so after three of your martinis last night and then having to wake at 3:30 am for work, I'll take a rain check.

(Yes, I know, trashy dad gets hammered at 7 year old daughter's birthday party. I didn't get hammered, just feeling pretty good by the time we left.
