Because they were trying to cut their losses from the initial investment, most likely.

And both decisions were apparently very bad.

When you go out to eat, you pay a shite ton. This is just a fact of life now.
Since everything is now really expensive the only things that matter are service and quality.

Baracuda is almost just as much in terms of pricing. These taco places are getting ridiculous with the pricing.

And at Govt, you have the option to sit in AC. I like them both though. Govt has more variety but I’ve definitely been on some off nights.

Except for the grocery store grab and go rotisserie chicken that’s still $6.99 and has been for years now.

You think baracuda tacos are bigger than govt taco?

Went to barracuda for lunch today and they absolutely are, unless gov’t changed theirs since last time I was there. You can literally eat gov’Ts in one whole bite

Food is too expensive for what you get. Quality just isn’t exceptional enough to warrant what they charge, especially with Barracuda right down the street.

Jay is an awesome guy and works hard. But he was a blogger who suddenly became the authority of food in BR. His only chef and restaurant experience was Govt Taco. His name gave Govt Taco the reputation.
