Good food pairings for pumpkin beers?

Backstory: I have been out of the country for a year. I love fall beers, especially the seasonal pumpkin beers. I knew I would miss them this season so I asked a couple friends to collect as many as they could find in BR/Nola so we could have a pumpkin night.
Well pumpkin night is Saturday and we have 16 beers to sample. I'd like to bring some foods that pair nicely with the tasting session.
Any suggestions? TIA

We did a cracklin crusted pan fried porkchop and happened to have a st Arnold pumpkinator. It pretty damn well together.

a good pairing for pumpkin beer would be the bottom of the sink and a good beer.

Yall are obsessed with this argument. being true "mavens" there should be at least 10 pairings for this guy.

I don't think many of us here like pumpkin beers. I would probably pair it with a dessert type dish if I had to, but I'm not a big dessert eater.

We tried a pumpkin beer tasting a few weeks back and the spices got cloying in no time. We stopped after about 15-20 bottles. As for pairings I have no idea.

I don't expect it to be too different than that, but I'm still excited. I missed all of fall + Thanksgiving so this is the closest I'll have to any of that this year

I, unlike most of these other fools, enjoy pumpkin beers. However, I've never really paired them with food. I think the only time was with a pumpkin cheesecake I made last year for Thanksgiving. Baw that was good!
I would stay away from spicy foods. Go with something heavier.
Beef stew. Steak. Potato au gratin. Cake. Idk.

I feel like pumpkin beers go better with dessert or as a standalone after dinner drink. Call me crazy but for some reason I feel like I could maybe drink a pumpkin beer with Indian food. Crown Valleys Imperial pumpkin smash is my personal favorite. Try it if you get a chance.

I don't like them either, but for some reason, it seems like a lot of people were all about them last year here..

I've made a spiced version of yams using this beer...it was amazing.
Basically you make a reduction sauce with the beer, a ton of brown sugar, white sugar, Steen Syrup.
You parboil the yam's then bake them till finished in the oven with the reduction sauce.
Right before the yams are cooked add some chopped roasted pecans.
(I don't have the exact recipe, I am a impromtu cook in the kitchen).
