Hosting a party for our friends this weekend and we are wanting to make a punch or two but needing some good recipes that people have made or tried and enjoyed.

Any suggestions??

Do you want it to be christmas flavored or just the standard jungle juice/freek/hairy buffalo, etc?

Not too picky at this point... not wanting anything too fancy just easy to make and easy on the wallet.

I like mulled wine for holiday parties.

Really I just like mulled wine everyday.

Seriously though, just get a few bottles of well vodka and add whatever mixers sound good.

Maybe some cranberry, sprite, pineapple juice. You could even add a few natty ice in there.

It's not exactly seasonal, but we used to use everclear, some frozen juice concentrates, and ginger ale. You could completely mask the alcohol flavor and have something that tasted super fruity and would send people on their way.

1 bottle of coconut rum, 1/2 bottle of favorite vodka, 1/2 gallon pineapple sherbert. Taste like a pina colada no ice needed.

I actually made that last week but with one small change.

Once the Hawaiian ice was in the bowl, I added a small block of ice to keep things cold, then strained the Hawaiian ice into the sink and added two bottles of good vodka.

Done.

My daughter in law made milk punch last year for Christmas. It was delicious! It tasted like a spiked milk shake.

I don't have her recipe but I'm sure you can google it.

Sounds like the Bourbon Milk Punch I get at The Bourbon House. Damn good for a hangover.
