I prefer what Flemings does with a steak to the other options mentioned. Haven't been to any of those options in BR in years though.

It’s definitely pretentious and a joke on this board, but both times I’ve had Supper Club the steaks were executed perfectly. And if you’re looking for atmosphere, they certainly have that.
Doubt you can get in this short of time in advance though.

I’ve had great steaks at French Market Bistro, Mansur’s, Flemings, and Louisiana Lagniappe and I’d go to any one of those places before Sullivan’s.

You should try for Mansurs. Not a steakhouse but great surf and turf, seafood

Seconded French Market Bistro.
Sullivan's steaks are nothing special. The building shares a lobby and bathroom with an extremely ghetto nightclub as well. Make of that what you will.

It's been a long, long time for me as well. Usually there just for Hayride Scandal. I'd recommend just heading to Juban's.
