Yea I definitely dont like being constantly bothered by the server but we weren't even told specials, etc... Just handed a piece of paper.

Overall we had a great experience last night. Their bread with that dip they serve with it was excellent. I did the pork cheeks and arancine as apps and both were good. As my entree I had the beef cap, 8 oz. for $39. Had a strong beefy flavor and I enjoyed it. For the most part everyone else in the group enjoyed their meals. The big disappointment was their "A Study in Crab" special. Came with literally a spoonful of crabmeat ravigote, a stuffed crab, crabmeat au gratin, and 3 crab ravioli for just under $40.

Sounds like a damn fine time You sound easy to please and reasonable. I'm sure the server enjoyed yall as guest. Nothing worst than someone at the table being an arse for no real reason.

Eating out is a good experience. My family dines with friends that enjoy it as we do. Food, fellowship, good wine. The server or service would have to be really bad for me to be a jackass. I don't mind mentioning if something isn't right, an undercooked or Overcooked entree for example but I find those problems rarely and just treat it as part of the experience. I value my friends and our conversations over most everything else so it is pretty hard for me to get worked up. And we treat servers well and tip well also so at the end of the night all parties involved are satisfied.

Totally agree. I've never dined with people again over them being too concerned with service and ignoring the good company we're in.

How do you afford this fine dining lifestyle right out of college ? I must have done it all wrong when I got my undergrad .. Wendy's was five star to me back then ..
