Going to Disney in October.
Anyway, I've only been to Disney once (15 years ago). Can anyone recommend me some good places to eat?
What about beer? Any good places for this?

Le Cellier is great! One of the best strips I've had.(Epcot)
Yak & Yetti is good to. (animal kingdom)
I didn't like anything in the magic kingdom.

There's plenty of good dininng in every park. I suggest you google Disney dining and just browse menus. It's really easy to navigate. Here's a short list of places we're sure to eat at every time we go:
Magic Kingdom:
Tony's Town Square
The Plaza
Be Our Guest
Epcot:
Via Napoli
LeCellier
Chefs de France
The Japanese pavilion
Hollywood Studios:
Hollywood Brown Derby
50's Prime Time
Animal Kingdom:
Yak and Yeti
Flame Tree BBQ
Downtown:
Earl of Sandwich
They also have a good truck section here now that may interest you.
If you're going to do any character dining try Hoopdy do Review, Tusker House or Crystal Palace.
Don't forget about resort dining. Ohana, Victoria an Alberts, Jiko and California Grill are all good choices.
As for beer, there's a ton in Epcot but don't go looking to drink in every park. Don't forget about The Boardwalk. That's where ESPN Club is and they have a ton of beers.

Good places to eat? The international Food and Wine festival will be happening at Epcot. Just must go eat your way around the world...

This. On your days in Epcot, I would forego eating at the restaurants and hit many of the small food booths around World Showcase Lagoon. If you're hell-bent on eating at a few restaurants in Epcot, Le Cellier is a good steakhouse option (Canada), Via Napoli (Italy) has excellent pizza and the relatively new La Hacienda de San Angel (Mexico) has nice views and good food.
In the Magic Kingdom, the choices are much fewer and not nearly as good. Tony's Town Square is decent, but it won't "wow" you. And, I've only been to Be Our Guest once for lunch, but was disappointed after reading and hearing so much hype. I honestly would recommend any of the following from the surrounding resorts if you want to eat somewhere close to the park:
- Ohana - a GREAT place to bring family and the food is very good. It has some awesome views of the MK and, if you time dinner right, you can watch the fireworks from the restaurant as you dine
- Whispering Canyon - another great family location, the cast members make it really fun, and it's just a nice resort to visit and look at the detail that went into the place
- Kona Cafe - also at the Polynesian with some good food options
- Grand Floridian Cafe - a nice, quiet place for lunch
- Citrico's - i had my favorite meal in WDW ever at Citrico's....it was a very pleasant surprise, I would definitely go back
Also, there are some good options at the Epcot area resorts.
- Yachtsman Steakhouse - I actually prefer this to Le Cellier...easier to get a reservation and I preferred my steak the couple of times I've been here
- Beaches & Cream Soda Shop - a fun place to get a casual lunch or dinner or just to stop off at after dinner for some dessert
There are also several restaurants at the Swan & Dolphin resorts between Epcot and Hollywood Studios that are supposed to be very, very good...I just haven't been to any to recommend them. Downtown Disney (will probably be called Disney Springs by the time you get to October) also has several restaurants.
- Paradiso 37 - I really enjoyed the unique menu items here when we went several years back. Not sure if it has changed, but we liked it
- Earl of Sandwich - this is a MUST HIT at least once on every one of our trips (but we usually end up there twice)
- The Boathouse - just opened in the last few weeks. It looks interesting, with a mostly seafood menu, and a bit pricey even by WDW standards. But it's a cool concept and the decor looks interesting to me - LINK
- Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex - neither will wow you with food...but the decor and animatronics are fun and great if you're travelling with kids

You'll find OK choices all around the World Showcase in the pavilions. And, since you're going during Food and Wine Fest, there will be several beer booths as well as other beers offered at the food booths.

The Food and Wine Festival at Epcot is great. We enjoyed it so much a couple of years ago we are going in October again this year. Tusker House at AK was my favorite. At MK, Casey's Corner is always a must for me. Corn dog nuggets with cheese

So when are you going? Because Food & Wine begins in September, runs all through October and ends in November.

If you are going in October, you def will be there for Food and Wine. We are going at the end of September. We loved it last year and will be hitting the Fatty Drunk Fest every year now. I would book NOW for your dining res and good luck. Ohana is booked solid unless you want to eat after 9PM.

Ohana for breakfast best meal I had in the parks
If you have kids, the best meals are the different character meals, book early though.
Plenty of drinks in Epcot.
I would suggest eating off the premises at times just to get away from all the commotion. After a week I felt like I was eating the same food everyday.

Chef Mickey (character dining) - Magic Kingdom
50's Prime Time Cafe - Hollywood Studios
Be Our Guest - Magic Kingdom
Via Napoli - Epcot Italy
Le Cellier - Epcot Canada
Hoop Dee Doo - Fort Wilderness Resort (not too sure about this one)

Hoop dee doo was suggested by my friends wife who we are going with. I looked at the menu and it appears to be all you can eat fried chicken and BBQ ribs. Not exactly what I would go for at Disney World. But I read the show is great and they offer unlimited beer and wine so that's a plus!

Ah OK. I've done it many times as a kid and then again a few years back as an adult. I enjoyed the show and the food, to me at least, was VERY GOOD. It might not be what you're going there to eat, but it's a nice change of pace from the other things. There are several sides also served with the main protein dishes as well.

We went Oct 18th last year and you could not have asked for better weather the whole week. Enjoy.

Here are a few links you may want to check on every couple of months. At some point in the summer, Disney will release much more info on the F&W Fest including full menus of each booth...so you can plan out accordingly. But be prepared to spend a good bit of $$$ at those booths.
Official Disney Site
Disney Food Blog
And here's a link to the 2014 F&W overview from the Disney Food blog, including menus. For he most part, the booths will still be serving the same stuff. Every year there are a few changes and maybe new booths as well (replacing other booths from prior years): LINK
