Having a pool party this weekend, need a good recipe. I know this isnt rocket science, i have googled some and they are all pretty similar but sometimes people have a killer recipe that sticks out. Extra points if you know any way to make a frozen margarita with restaurant consistency but out of standard household items.

tequila, Cointreau, and lime juice. Adding agave elevates it even more.

As for frozen margs I’m not joking when I say grab Bacardi’s frozen mix. The ones in small circle tubes. Add in the ice tequila and some Cointreau.

Yep.

Tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and a splash of agave nectar.

For frozen you can buy the premade Jose Cuervo margarita mix at the liquor (or grocery depending on where you live) store. Then buy a bag of ice and a bottle of your preferred tequila to enhance and you're good to go. The nice thing about the premade mixes is that it's really easy to make a pitcher at a time.

Infuse some Espolon (blanco or repasado) with 3 fresh sliced jalapeños.
Get some Tres Agaves organic marg mix
1:1 tequila to mix over ice
teaspoon of agave if you like them sweet
can freeze watermelon cubes and substitute for ice for spicy watermelon margs

Use salt, sugar, lime zest mixture for the rim
Garnish with a lime and a jalapeno slice

3 - 2oz shots of tequila (I use Espolon)
1 - 2oz shot of lime juice
1 - 1oz shot of simple syrup or Agave
1 - 1oz shot of Triple sec (Cointreau when feeling fancy, Drillaud's is what I normally use since it's cheap)

3oz good tequila
3oz grand marnier
3oz simple syrup
2-3oz juiced lime

Mixes give me heartburn and taste like crap compared to real ones.

Dont make a gallon of this and drink it like beer, ask my wife and her cousin.

Two parts tequila
Two parts fresh squeezed lime juice
One part Grand Marnier
A bit less than one part agave.

I drop in lime popsicles as a bit of a garnish. The ladies like them and its enjoyable to watch them lick popsicles.

I like to cube a watermelon the night before and freeze it. Use thin in place of ice cubes for a delicious margarita.

Ingredients

-1 lime, halved
-Coarse salt
-1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice, from about 4 limes
-1 tablespoon sugar
-1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur (recommended: Grand Marnier)
-1/4 cup Triple Sec
-1 cup gold tequila
-Ice
-1/2 can good quality lager-style beer
-Lime wheels, for garnish

Directions

To salt the margarita glasses, rub the outside rims of 4 big glasses with a cut lime and press them lightly into a plate of kosher salt, to coat.

Combine the lime juice, sugar, orange liqueur, Triple Sec, tequila, and a big handful of ice in a cocktail shaker (or blender). Shake the margarita really well, for a good 20 seconds, add a splash of beer and strain into the salt rimmed glasses filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Sometimes we will take a watermelon from the garden, put it in the blender then strain it and use the juice for watermelon margaritas. Pretty refreshing drink when it's hot

Blanco tequila, Cointreau Noir and Tres Agaves mix for ease and speed. Plus it uses agaves for sweeteners instead of corn syrup like most of the others so it’s less calories.

Just made the wife one early in like 30sec.

Juice of 1 lime
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 oz Patron silver
1 oz Gran Marnier (other orange liqueurs don’t taste as good)
1/2 to 3/4 oz of agave nectar

My wife prefers a full ounce of agave nectar. I sampled it and she’s not wrong. I simply prefer tasting the tequila.

Put all in a Boston shaker, add ice. Shake.

Pour, holding back ice. Add fresh cubes of ice (fresh cubes will last longer).

We just made some awesome ones tonight.

Couple ounces orange juice
Couple ounces lime juice
Two mangos
Bunch of mint leaves
Some coconut water to thin it
Margarita salt and chili lime on the rim
Agave syrup to cut the tart
Over ice
Obviously shitload of tequila, which you don’t taste with all that acid
