They used to sell 5 mozzarella sticks for $10, now it 3 for $10. Food is decent, but the food is ridiculously overpriced. There are other self serving changes that hurt customers.

I don’t plan to ever go back.

It’s a sign of the times. Food prices have gone up everywhere. For instance, a cup of C&S gumbo use to be $7.95. Now it’s $9.95. Won’t stop me from eating out.

I went once for lunch. Nothing special, seems like the kind of place you go if you work or live nearby.

Have you been out to eat recently? No restaurant is immune from market forces. Blue Oak just cut the number of their wings appetizer from 10 wings to five, but kept the price close to the same.

and this is where the problem is. As long as people over pay for food, this will continue

Just like chicken wings, legs and thighs can still be found for reasonable prices, get them on sell and it’s like the last 26 months never happened. I’m not paying $20+ for a pack of wings but evidently enough people are continuing to buy them because the price hasn’t gone down.

also, grocery store prices have pretty well caught up with farmers market and vegetable market prices (they don’t have the after market overhead) so you can get most of your stuff there and eat better for no extra cost
