I have an elderly family member that wants to go this route. Any decent options in BR?

I had a thread on this last month. Ended up going with Randy Montalbano’s. It was real good gumbo.

Pot and paddle. The one in Denham stays open till 8 and is open on Sunday. The Gonzales and Baton Rouge ones close early on Saturday and aren’t open Sundays.

I have bought gallons of chicken and sausage gumbo from the Bergeron's in Shreveport, and it was good. I assume the gumbo they sell at the Port Allen location is the same recipe.

Do not get the gumbo from the one in Baton Rouge on Jefferson. I eat there frequently. Most of their food is good, but their gumbo is shite.
