and both times it failed.
Why? Poor management? Not a good product? No separation from the competition?
I actually enjoyed it and miss it.

I think people were just really disappointed that it wasn't Fudpuckers.

But it was pretty good. Fuddrucker's also failed in downtown New Orleans.
I am still awaiting the arrival of Whataburger to New Orleans.

I recall that the burgers were not good at all (kinda important), and you had to dress it yourself which was really weird.

I'd say it is due to poor management. From working there in college, I thought the owners were a-holes and thus the service really suffered. But I did think that if you cooked the burgers right that they were awesome.

used to go to the one that was by celebration station quite often. good burger...just like ground patti, i like their burger but they could not hang on.. I do drop into the gp in houma when down in that shithole town.

Isn't there a Fuddrucker's in Harrahs?

Where was the first one?
I remember going, but I can't, for the life of me, recall where it was. Somewhere along Airline Highway, I maybe want to say?

There's still a handful open in Greater New Orleans.
Last one I went to, in Gretna, was terrible. Not at all, like I remembered.

I liked Fudruckers a lot. I think it was poor management though. I liked the idea of dressing your own burger.
