not sure where to buy them, but if you can, get your hands on a jack daniels fruitcake.
i was gifted on once by a JD salesman, they were giving them out to employees and venders, and that was the best fruit cake i ever had in my life.
its the flavor but it cooks out all the alcohol in it and its delicious, and i usually hate fruitcakes until i had that one.
they also have the recipe if you want to make your own. LINK

Sams, Costco and Walmart probably all have the Claxton Fruitcake. It is excellent, nice and sweet and tasty. I remember when the JCs Lions Club, etc. sold them at Christmas and you went to your Bank branch to buy the cakes. I also remember when they were a dollar. I have no idea what they cost now, but I have a sudden craving for a slice of Claxton Cake.
Wally World has them.

If you can find a Collin Street Bakery one, you will love it! I believe I saw them at Rouses.

I can remember as a kid every Christmas my mom would have a fruitcake that came in those round, red tin cans for us to eat.
Personally, I like them, but only in small doses once a year and not something I'd want to eat often.
I haven't had one in ages and may go find one to try this year to see if they taste like I remember them.

We need more fruitcakes in this world and less bakers!

Ended up getting a Grandma’s from Riuse’s. My wife almost shite her pants when they rang it up at 32 bucks. 2.5 pounds though. I have no issues with the price if it’s good. Fruitcake gets a bad rap. Thanks for the responses. Merry Christmas??

Let us know how it is. My sister made them for years but no more and I’m looking. :)

Costco used to sell one that was made in-house. Incredible. They quit making it.
