Friday Night Fish Fry

Last night I fried some catfish for dinner along with some boudin balls. We had cole slaw and steamed zucchini and squash for sides.
Had a few ice cold Abita Golden to help while making dinner. There were some dark heavy rain laiden clouds rolling in wileIs frying.
Catfish done!
Crawfish and regular boudin balls. The crawfish versiion was not that great!
Served! Txastoast as well as homemade jalapeno tartar sauce.

This was some leftover fish fry we use for our K of C Lenten Fish Fry dinners. Specially blended from Deep South Blenders. Good Stuff! I just add a lil more Cajun Seasoning and a lil sea salt.

Fish fries are huge on Fridays in the North. Not sure what it is about fish and Fridays, but people make a big deal of it. Usually it's all you can eat at restaurants.

Is that Catfish or Swai?
Doesn't matter to me, I like both.
Looks good, by the way. Deep South blenders are good at what they do ... they're the producers of Cajunland products, which I'm a huge fan of.
