Tried it for the first time and thought the food was solid. Little Village just doesn’t do it for me anymore and so I wanted an Italian option close to home. The service was slow but I got the impression the waitress would take an order and go cook it and then bring it out because we never saw ours again until the food came. Service was slow but friendly. The owner came around and I just felt like if I made him mad I’d end up swimming in acid in the back.

It’s obviously a family place but they got this girl waiting tables who clearly can’t be more than 14-15. It just felt awkward but she did a decent job compared to her cousin who was ours.

Love this place. You can tell the owners are straight off the boat. I have had their trio special and their meatball and chicken parm subs. The meatball sub is truly the best I have ever had.

If its the same as the one in Laffy, it stayed open for maybe 3 months.

It is. Seems unfortunate.

But that’s just his side.

True that. There are one or two Albanian's in that family and/or working for them.

It happened at the Italian Bowl. Same location. Different people.

I've been twice and thought the food, service and value was beyond solid.

Definitely a family situation. I asked how biz was, and he said was good, but hard to get good help.

Give it a shot or go apply for a job. Hoping they make it!
