I found a big beautiful bone in rib-eye in my freezer. No idea how old it is. If I defrost it and it doesn’t smell or isn’t slimy I should be good to eat it, right?

Yep. If it's freezer burned, thaw it and slice it thin for steak sandwiches.

Im sure you have a mild idea. As long as its less than a year old, go to town.

If no freezer burn, it should be tasty.

I’d eat it after 3 years and not think twice.
