For whoever was looking for good store bought chicken salad recently...

Chicken Salad Chick has opened on Lee Dr across from Mike Anderson's. As good (store bought) as I've ever had...certainly better than Zoe's IMHO. Also locations in Denham,Laf and Alex. Worth a try...

The Costco chicken salad is phenomenal.
I agree their CS is very good and I like the price but a little too chunky for the way I like it. I like the creamier version like Rouse's makes. However, the Costco CS is my wife's favorite so that is what we normally buy. While the taste of the CS is mostly easy to agree on, it's the texture that most people have their own preference.
Thanks for the info on Chicken Salad Shack - I'll give it a try.

I had some kind of jalapeno one from Chicken Salad Chick months ago and it was freaking delicious. Have been waiting for it to open here
