Almost all local restaurants are offering some really good family meal deals

Please support these right now

They really need it

Agree. There are a ton of specials. If you follow a lot of local restaurants on social media, they've been posting their specials all day.

Impastato's came out with a special menu:

Regular menu is still available as well. Hours are 12-8 PM. Number is 504-455-1545

I would, naturally, mention the Domino's 50% special, but as times are as they are, I am refraining from eating in chains while the crisis continues.

Please advise on your favorite local take out during these trying times. A top 10 only seems appropriate and would be a very generous act on your part. Advise.

I would suggest a chain pizza joint could have a local owner and be just as impacted

I would rather not have elder Joe Impastato coughing up a lung on my veal parma. Friend, he was not a good guy, not calling him a murderer but he had very awful friends and swindled money from many hardworking citizens.

I’d feel much safer ordering out from a younger restaurant culture such as Turkey in the Wolf, Pizza Dominica or Blue Giant Chinese.

That's what I'm hoping people will post. I live in Prairieville but I haven't seen any local specials posted anywhere.

Where NOLA Eats on Facebook has recent updates with restaurants and employees posting their hours and menus. Also, check out your favorite restaurants' FB pages, and give them a thumbs up in support. Share their pages. Post feedback. Check out the restaurant's web site. Call them so they know they are not forgotten.
Spread the word from these sources.
Thanks to all those posting info and menus.
