Not sure exactly what you are looking for but we loved against the grain when we went. It's a damn good brewery and smokehouse in one.

There were a few casual places that I enjoyed in Louisville. Holy Grale was an awesome beer bar with great food in a cool area. Feast BBQ was very good. The Mussel and Burger Bar downtown is a nice high end burger joint.

Holy grail is a good place for a beer and their schnitzel looked great. Ended up going to the eagle just down the way last time and I've verified that it's tasty. Queen of Shiba by bowman field has really good Ethiopian food.
