Bronco Burrito for breakfast burritos

Warning The Spot (and possibly other restaurants) make bastardized drinks like margaritas with wine due to some weird alcohol laws.

It has been a while, and I'm sure there are some new spots that are great, but favorite meals there from ShyKatz, Farley Girls, and Mosquito Cafe.

Bronco burrito is awesome. I used to go to their location in League City all the time before it became Juan Bug Burrito. Go to is bacon, egg, cheese, potato with hot salsa.

Bronco Burritos is great, but I believe the Galveston location is still closed from the fire a few years ago.
BLVD seafood is great! Would also recommend Cajun Greek and "The Original Mexican Cafe". Jimmy's on the pier is a cool spot to have a few beers and the snapper nachos make a good accompaniment.
Heading to the west part of the island, Nate's West End is a solid mentionable.
ETA: Not too far from Galveston, in Hitchcock, is Smokin Z's BBQ. He has some solid BBQ and was doing brisket kolaches (at least a few weeks ago).
If you're staying for a few days, take the ferry ride over to Bolivar and have a meal at Stingaree. Great views and live music every weekend.
