Crabby is in Nola for the weekend. He's the one who alerted me, this morning, before he left that the board was shut down.
I think TF finally had enough of Aboy and shut things down. Aboy, meanwhile is probably kicking up dust trying to find somewhere to post before the need for some sort of rehab. I expect he will migrate to the Lake forum, though Lake probably still despises TF and Aboy is a worshipper or he was. I haven't been over that much in the past year. When I did, I just looked for posts by Feng or Pete Vasquez as those were the only entertaining writings on that board.
Amarone will probably have a field day with this news. He always obsessed over TF.
Strange folks on the TF forums way back when, but some years ago, it was highly informative and entertaining as you will recall.
The nolaeats forum seems to have died as far as food talk. Maybe aboy will go there and get it going again.

The Neworleans.com forum is where alot of the old time food talkers go visit from time to time. It went to crap a while ago, but has been doing a little better. Here is the link.

I was a long time reader of that site, but it went down, so I hadn't been back in a long while. I look at it from time to time. I remembered your handle over there and on the Eats forum, but now I forgot it. Was it PNG? Or BTG?

That's pretty funny. He doesn't know the history between Lake and Fitz. I remember when Lake started her forum as an answer to Fitz sometime around 2002, I think. He may have even banned her. I know they went after each other regularly on his forum in those days. She spent a lot of time downing Fitz and I think he came over and needled her several times. That woman HATES Fitz or she did. Now, aboy is talking about his hopes that Fitz will post there. That made me laugh out loud, knowing the history.

It died when they revamped it three or four years ago and destroyed all the original content. It never recovered.
