No person knowledge, but if you want fish and chips I would guess The Londoner (or whatever it's called now).

It's the Gulf Coast not BR and it's shrimp not fish. But if no one objects I'll mention Annie's in Pass Christian, the home of beer batter shrimp.

So the guy asks for a place in Baton Rouge that has fish and chips and you give him a place in pass Christian that serves shrimp and is not in business anymore?

Given the lack of pubs in Baton Rouge and our ability to produce a better seafood product than most of the country, fish n chips is limited here.

I think your best bet could be BJs Brewhouse, but I haven't gone there in years.

Just checked: $15.75 at BJ's. My word. No thanks.

Sam's Southern Eatery, I've only tried Lafayette, but fresh, good, and quick. I see there is one in Port Allen

Long John Silver's for the win. Tasty when you are on the road at 9:00 pm, trying to get from an airport in your rental car to a hotel two more hours down I-75. I always ordered extra fried batter bits. That late at night they will empty the bits bin into your tray if you ask really nice like I always did.

Oh and Heathrow Airport in London, during a 4 hour layover, between Houston and South Africa.
