Dogfish Head

Well smack my arse and call me Sally, we will finally be able to buy Dogfish Head Beer in La. For years I have had to smuggle this stuff in from Texas or Fla. Hands down my favorite beer, 90 Minute IPA.

I wonder were will be the first stores we can purchase at? Thoughts?

About 5 years too late, in my opinion.

Burton Baton is a really solid beer. Imperial IPA/Strong English Ale.

Really?

I think it’s mediocre at best.

No Dogfish Head doesn’t really do or specialize in NEIPAs.

What is up with all the hate for DFH?

Is this not a good thing to have another brew available to us? I know there are plenty of quality beers at our disposal now (compared to just a few years ago), but it's another solid option.

You’re confusing hate with apathy, I think.

No hate... just like I said, this is about 5 years too late. Back then I would be buying plenty of 90 Minute and others. Now, I'll probably pass it by almost all of the time for something better and local instead.

This was my thought when we got it in Alabama a couple years back. With so many other options available now, I never buy it.

Not so much hate, but, for what I assume the price point is going to be, I can get a lot of quality, local beers

Gotcha, without a doubt the microbrew industry has blossomed into greatness. I started drinking the DFH many years ago when you couldn't buy hardly anything good in BR. We have been blessed by the progress and ample supply available now.

I’m looking forward to seaquench and trying the flesh and blood. Will probably just try the 60 and 90 once. Louisiana has gotten beer was from way worse brewers recently. Hopefully this starts to push some of the lesser ones out.
