Have any of you been to Fiery Crab? I see them and I looked at the menu and was intrigued, but I’m always skeptical of chain seafood restaurants, after living in South Louisiana my whole life

I think the one that opened in Lafayette lasted just a few months.

I had friends get Fiery Crab on Siegen one. The crab was discolored and had some type of worms inside when they brought them home. Restaurant refused to believe that they actually gave them that food and offered no compensation. I'd never touch a place like that in my life. I don't think I'd ever get crab unless I'm in a restaurant directly on or next to the ocean.

Wow. I stand corrected, then.

I wanted to try it once, but they didn’t open until 12:00, which I found kind of dumb. (Or is it just me?) Never drove in the parking lot again.

I've been to the one in Gonzales several times. The pound of green mussels was like $14 and made for a great lunch.

Went once and the crab legs were fine, they do the soak them in Tony’s and a gallon of butter thing which isn’t for everyone

The clientele was interesting

I went in one, I didn't quite fit in with the current clientele. The food was ok, would never go back.

These places are everywhere now and have similar names, Fiery Crab, Juicy Seafood, etc. It's all the same place with boil in a bag food.

The one on Common Street? It's dark, dank, and depressing.

Same reason I won’t eat raw oysters north of I-10…

Never see a lot of cars out front (of any location) but they keep expanding. Screams money laundering or deep pockets / tax shelter.
