Feeling Like Jerk Today

Not me exactly but...........

I'm doing jerk chicken thighs for dinner this evening. I already made the black bean side and just waiting until I get the chicken on the Keg to finish the rice dish.

Thighs marinating in jerk seasoning.

I had a really good recipe but I couldn't find it for this cook. This recipe wasn't bad but I have had better. Let me see if I can find that other one for you.


Of course "When in Rome.........."
Had a few ice cold Red Stripe during the cook and with the meal.



Gotta have a little char on Jerk Chicken!

Carribean Rice and Black Beans(The wife has always hated black beans but she said this was really good!)

I used habaneros I got from Rouse's. Recipe called for three and had a good kick to it.

I have gotten SBs from Whole Foods I believe it was.

Here is a link to my thread when I did jerk chicken. Used the rub from Red Stick Spice, but the real difference was the basting sauce I found online from a jerk restaurant in Jamaica.

Was mighty fine eating, mon.
