OK, I have been on here for a while but I guess not long enough to know what this means.

So, what is the deal with "Fed my Bartender"?

Bayou Tiger cooks a delicious-looking spread on Sundays and then literally feeds his bartender every Sunday night.

I bartended for many, many years, and tips are great, but sometimes food is even better

He recently explained it - there is a neighborhood bar he likes to frequent and he will take a boxed up meal to the bartender, who is probably a college kid that doesn't get much home cooking these days. A very kind gesture, if you ask me.

My bigger question is what’s the deal with the imitation crab salad or coleslaw every meal.

The food he posts always looks great, however

The most amazing thing about him is he lost a ton of weight while posting dinners every night that would take me like three meals to finish

Really enjoy his contributions to this board

Sometimes, there is no secret code.

While on an outing through UL, I met our bus driver’s mother. Later, while having dinner, I turned to the bus driver and told him his mom was pretty. A woman who overheard was convinced I was telling him something in code. She never believed I was just complimenting his mom.

Why were you telling some dude you thought his mom was hot?

I’m really just feeding my bartender but no matter what I feed them, they still want a tip! :)

Some nice things said. Thanks, folks!

Yea, I wonder also how he doesn't get tired of the coleslaw and fake crab salad? But, I love that he has a glass of cold milk with all his meals.
