Looks good OB. Like the consistency of the glaze reduction. Nice plating. I sor'ta dropped the ball with my plating, forgetting that we first eat with our eyes.

Yep, I am certain he was serious. Because I had the same experience here in Meridian. No pumpkins in town that weren't pureed in a can.

Hey FunBunch...while we're waiting for the final dishes, how was your food in Tampa? Did you get to try any of the food tents Friday afternoon?

To kill time while we're waiting - I saw an old geezer dead on the beach one afternoon in Tampa.

They found him under one of those portable sun shade tents, cold and getting stiffer by the minute - across from an Italian Poboy place. I forget the name of the Poboy place, but they had a really good cold cuts Poboy - provolone ham ,salami, and stuff. Good beer too.

Couldn't have been all that far from the big Scientology Place.

Strange things happen at the beach. I was sunning one day, just about to doze off when the life guard's whistle frantically went off. He jumped off his lifeguard stand and sprinted into the water to where no one seemingly was. He then pulled up this guy who was completely submerged in the water this entire time, and dragged him to shore where he administered CPR and basically saved his life.

That was a memory right there, but it gets better. The guy started coming to, and was apparently piss drunk or under the influence of something because he started wrestling with the life guard and taking swings at him. By this time, backup came, and he was eventually cuffed, checked out by ambulance personnel, and taken off in a squad car.

What an event. The guy went from certain death, to having his life saved, to taking swings at that very same person, to going to jail.

Is it 3:30 yet?

Only difference is I live in the same place and saw pumpkins as recent as this morning.

I would have assured anyone I would just go out and buy one. But went to six different places (2 WallyWorld locations and 4 grocers (two Winn Dixie and two Piggly Wiggly. Struck out six times.

Thanks everyone!!!

I'm telling you, the glaze is awesome. I should have strained the marmalade at the beginning but I wouldn't change much.

The soy was integral to balance all the sweetness. Every bite was like 2 separate experiences. I'll go back later and post my ratios for the glaze.

Very simple and enjoyable.

Everyone did an excellent job. Should be plenty of proud chefs on board.

Wise, I was serious about the pumpkin. I went to the rouses on airline, the Robert 's , and Walmart on Jefferson.
No pumpkin to be found.
