I've literally never tetu'd a beer. And I've drank some shitty ones in my day.
I've literally pounded an entire 6 pack of that awful Wild Blue by Bud before.

Fun fact on Pliny, both Pliny the Younger and Pliny the Elder have statues on the Cathedral in Como, Italy....and even they like Heady, Abrasive and Double Jack over PTE
Who doesn't?
Pliny the Elder? More like Jockamo the Elder, amirite?
Fun fact, the original name of Lagunitas Sucks is Pliny Sucks.

I don't want to make this a contest, but, Wild Blue is, according to beeradvocate, a 52. Goldmine is a whopping 71. Plus there's all the Olde English 40's I've pounded. When it comes to drinking for effect, I, my friend, am a master
I love good beer, but I'm not above indulging my anti-maven to get drunk.

Have you been in my pantry? Glad to hear a good review-got a bomber in my Chicago BXN

I can down a 12 pack of PBR or Bud Heavy before I can down something like Abita Fall Fest or almost any Rogue beers.

You broadcast that you were at the casino all day, the mavens descended upon your residence.

Finishing things off with a glass of Bulleit Rye, not expensive but very enjoyable

I agree, Ro. I'd rather drink near water than that swill.
We're the worst kind of snob.

I've admiditingly ducked the FBD group for the month I stayed with family in LA during our transition to Tx.
I knew that posting cases on top of cases of natty light wouldn't add to the thread.
I had a blast and don't regret a single second though. Was good times spent catching up with my people.

Why is your immediate attitude when posting this a defensive one?

I always pack quality beer. I'll drink it and post it. When it's gone (because it will be after a certain point), I'll drink and post what I can. My next visit home you're gonna see a lot of Budweiser and probably Blue Moon. And I'm okay with that.

Some of the best beers are the ones you share with friends...
I'm not sure why people are talking about BMCs and drain pours. I may not seek them out, but it could pound bud, coors, miller light all day...Most of the beers I've tetu'd are stouts and barley wines where the brewer experimented a little too much.

TCO, you're the man.
Nobody thinks BMC is good shite. We can drink that. We don't want to, but we can. It's the stuff that gets funky that we get rid of.

Unlike some Mavens, if the only thing available is a BMC, I am going to drink it.
I rarely tetu anything either. Last week I tetu'd a Spike & Jerome's because it was truly horrible.

2-10bd were a bunch of homebrews at our Swamp Rat homebrew club brainstorming session. Cold, swerving bike back from the bar.

I can't drink those aluminum bottles by miller and Coors.
Only beer I've tetued is ST Creme brûlée.
