I had some old Mecha sitting around and I had to go to the homebrew store. Figured I'd solve the old Mecha problem.

Right on! Stoked about the football man. Can't wait until LSU kickoff.

Trying to decide on next beverage. Beer or whiskey? Decisions. What say ye FBD crew?

Kim, sorry I had to cancel today. Got stuck in lab longer than I expected to

Absolutely no problem. I had plenty of stuff to do at work anyway.
There is always next week.

I say drink beer until dark, then switch to the hard stuff.

FBD and SBD were Frat43's Irish red and Citra IPA. Great beers to have after work and after unexpectedly running in to him as I was beer shopping at Cuban.

That Citra IPA was on the money.

I was in Cuban earlier this afternoon too. The selection at Matherne's has grown old for the most part.

THA is mos def his go to for much of the year. I am sure the BCS will be making its appearance once the weather gets a bit cooler.

It is my favorite regular IPA. Not flashy, but I never get tired of drinking it. I came home from FL with a nice stash a few weeks ago.

No doubt. SBD is a Parish Envie.

ETA: I don't know if I bought an old six pack (I can't find any date on the bottles), but this beer is not nearly as good as the last few times I had it on tap.

NoBD for me. Haven't had a drink since Sunday and my body is prepared for a gameday/fantasy draft Saturday.

What are you doing up in Portland? Is L with you? What is the best "new try" beer you've had?
