FBD- Sight Lines at Triple Crossing after 3+ miles in 94° heat. The run reminded me of BR, when I was a lot less active.

Don’t bother with the BBQ. Just go to Finback and Grimm and you’ll have a good time

That Other Half line sucks

3BD when this dropped it was straight Kikkoman and I was pissed that I maxed out. Tried it a few months later at the beer garden and it was drinking nicely.

It got better since then. Still not Perm 57 or Perm 109, but really good.

Yeezy - how in the hell was Trillium selling bottles of that Dogtooth Violet for only $2.50? I haven't had a chance to go pick some up but at that price I'll buy the max even if it's only half decent.

And I've said hello back on many occasions. It's a good spot. But I'd recommend going to Grimm and Finback over Other Half.

It’s apparently just Perm 63 all over again. Which, Perm 63 was delightful. If you remember, that beer dropped shortly after the wages scandal. JC actually came in to check the “climate” of the building and we asked him about 63. From what I recall, some hops got lost/went unused and sat for a bit before they were rediscovered. JC was inspired by the idea of using aged hops in the same vein as some of your lambic brewers, so he let them continue to sit and age. In his words, they got “really funky” before the time was right. They then brewed a simple beer and treated it with the house wild culture and used those aged hops. It was $2.50/bottle back then as well, which meant a lot of people were speculating that it was an apology of sorts. From my understanding it was more about the cost of ingredients and that it didn’t see substantial barrel/puncheon/foeder time like most of Trillium’s wilds.

The final product was really funky, mildly tart, and really exciting for me because I hoped it was indicative of a new direction for the Trillium wild ale program. That hasn’t as much been the case so far, but it’s still early. The Super Duper Soaks have had a lot more depth and funk, but still not where I’d like them to go.

Sorry for the long winded response

It would be interesting to see how those that don’t like his previous social comments would view his comments about the gang branding
